"Statistics." Youth AIDS. 2006. 19 Jan 2009

This Source I used was a website which had various statistics and facts on just about anything that had to do with AIDS. This helped my informative essay and global facts genres a lot because it helped me understand how serious this disease really is. It also helped me make my essay make sense when trying to piece different types of information together. I personally found this website as my favorite source for learning more about the AIDS virus.
"The History of AIDS." Avert. 28 nov 2008. Avert. 19 Jan 2009
<http://www.avert.org/his81_86.htm>.
This website helped me get a better understanding of AIDS’ history and how it was when it first started to surface in the Unites States and even the world. I found this website very clear and understanding to read when trying to write my essay.
Behring, Dade. "HIV/AIDS."Health Encyclopedia. "3rd ed". 2006.
This encyclopedia also helped in my essay when trying to find symptoms and sicknesses that unfortunately come along with the AIDS virus. The book explained things well without using too many big words which I liked a lot. The book didn’t just have things about AIDS, it also has hundreds of other topics on other health related issues which is why I recommend this book to anyone doing health or disease related topics.
Ksir, Charles. Drugs, Society, & Human Behavior. 13th. New York:
McGraw-Hill, 2009.
This book gave me a better understanding of what AIDS actually does to your body without using fancy words that would confuse me. It got right to the point and like the encyclopedia; it too had other topics to read about other than AIDS.
Cohen, Jon. "AIDS Research:Vaccine Studies." Science 11 Feb 2000:
36.
This magazine article was a very interesting source I used in my essay for AIDS research and theories on cures and vaccines. This article was very well written and very easy to read.
